Built by people who understand business value

Understanding what your business is worth shouldn’t be something you only think about when you’re ready to sell.

We built [Company Name] to give business owners a clearer, more accessible way to understand the value of their business today — and what they can do to increase that value tomorrow.

Our platform combines AI-powered analysis with decades of real-world experience in business, M&A, managed services, technology and cyber security.

Because we don’t just understand valuations from a theoretical perspective. We’ve built businesses, acquired businesses, scaled businesses and sold businesses ourselves.

UK-based. Built by industry experts.

[Company Name] is a UK-based business founded by Ian Jones and Ryan Bradbury.

Between us, we bring extensive experience across M&A, corporate finance, business ownership, technology and scaling companies.

Our platform has been designed around the questions experienced investors, acquirers and advisers ask when assessing a business:

  • What is the business really worth?
  • What is driving its valuation?
  • How attractive is it to a potential buyer?
  • What risks could reduce its value?
  • How dependent is the business on its owner?
  • How strong and predictable is its revenue?
  • What could be improved before a future sale?
  • What would an acquirer look for during due diligence?

Our goal is to make this kind of thinking accessible to business owners long before they enter a formal sale process.

Meet the team

Ian Jones

M&A & Managed Services Executive

Ian brings more than 40 years of experience in the managed services sector, combining deep operational expertise with extensive M&A experience.

During his career, Ian has been directly involved in more than 25 acquisitions, covering the full M&A lifecycle — from identifying opportunities and due diligence through negotiation, transaction execution, integration and post-deal optimisation.

Much of Ian’s career was spent in senior leadership roles within the managed services industry, including Danwood, where he was instrumental in growing and scaling the business and was involved in acquisitions that expanded its capabilities and market position.

His transaction experience extends across both acquisitions and disposals. Ian has led the divestment of Right Digital Solutions from Capita PLC, as well as playing a key role in both a management buyout (MBO) and a trade sale.

This combination of operational and transactional experience gives Ian a particularly practical understanding of what drives business value.

He has seen first-hand what buyers look for during due diligence, which characteristics make a business attractive to acquirers, and where operational or commercial weaknesses can affect a transaction.

Ian brings this experience to [Company Name] to help ensure that our approach to valuation and M&A readiness reflects the realities of the market — not simply theoretical financial models.

Ryan Bradbury

Entrepreneur & Technology Leader

Ryan is an entrepreneur and technology leader who has founded, scaled and successfully exited two businesses.

He first founded Avalon IT, which grew into a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) in the East Midlands, helping businesses use technology to operate, grow and scale.

Ryan later founded CyberLab, a specialist cyber security consultancy. He built the business from the ground up, developing its technology, services and commercial strategy before its acquisition by Chess Group.

Ryan subsequently served as CyberLab’s Chief Technology Officer, helping shape its technology roadmap and playing a key role in its continued growth and development.

Having personally built, scaled and exited businesses, Ryan understands the factors that can make a company valuable to a potential acquirer — from recurring revenue and strong financial performance to operational scalability, customer concentration, technology, intellectual property and reducing reliance on the founder.

This first-hand experience is central to the thinking behind [Company Name].

Ryan believes business owners shouldn’t wait until they decide to sell before thinking about value. The decisions made years before a transaction can have a significant impact on the value ultimately achieved.

Ryan combines his experience as a business owner with his background in technology, cyber security and AI to make sophisticated business valuation and M&A insight more accessible to business owners.
